Flag protocol

Article 7- Mourning; 8. When the flag is used to cover a casket, it should not be lowered into the grave or allowed to touch the ground. The flag should be neatly folded and presented to the next of kin or an appropriate family member in honour of the deceased. UN Flag Code ST /SGB/2020/4

The code itself does not dictate what the home country of the deceased peacekeepers can do in the terms of dual flag honors (if they so chose); Irish soldiers have had both the UN and Irish flags draped on their coffins, along with Bangladeshi soldiers and others.

As these units are loaned out to the United Nations by their partner nations, the solders will wear the uniform of the country they are serving with (versus the host country). As such, the protocol on how to wear UN insignia is based on the uniform regulations of each country. The UN will provide insignia (full color) and most of the time, it will be circular in nature. Partner nations, such as Canada, require a traditional red/white flag color for international deployments for peacekeeping, unless specific operations require for a subdued color instead. Also for Canada, the flag of the host/operation country will not be worn on the national uniform. (Source) United States as AR 670-1 states, the US flag can go either full color or tactical (subdued) while on UN missions, but depends on the commander. As for physical flags, each nation is able to use an honor guard with their national flag, alongside with the UN flag, and the protocols are mixed with the serving nations and the UN flag code (see Ukraine for an example). Specific deployment flags can be created as well, as the Chinese have done for ceremonies and other protocol events. It is of note for both of these examples, the UN flag is in the position of honor.

The United Nations Command Military Armistice Commission (UNCMAC) represents the UN forces in the armistice discussions with North Korea at Panmunjom. The NNSC (originally Switzerland, Sweden, and Poland, now just the first two) has the role of providing objective observation and reporting on the UN and DPRK's compliance with the armistice. The NNSC flag is a simple combination of the colors of the flags of the original members, which fortunately are the same even after the withdrawal of the Poles.
My recollection from visiting Panmunjom is that the UNCMAC flag is yellow with the UN emblem in light blue.

Panmunjeom is administered by North Korea, and presumably this flag is only or mainly used locally.
